City Gardens
Amanda On The Veranda City Garden designs rely on a selective and restrained use of contemporary containers and plants to give a sleek, sophisticated and uncluttered look. Our objective is to create peaceful havens within city gardens, ensuring our designs are in keeping with the materials used in each house.
The owners of this secret mews garden travel frequently. Because of this they wanted containers with integrated irrigation systems and low-maintenance plantings. We also installed window boxes with irrigation systems on the roof of their bin storage area, planted with trailing varigated ivies, to help disguise it. 
A wonderfully sunny and sheltered space with a decked floor and walled on 4 sides. Our client wanted an instant, colourful transformation combined with a child-friendly, low maintenance garden. Hanging 15 planted window boxes, complete with our integrated irrigation system, at eye level along all walls with plants trailing downwards, achieved this. (No water dripping on the beautiful decking wood also). 
We installed simple, contemporary containers and plants to emphasise the beautiful granite steps leading up to this handsome entrance.
A unique house with a beautiful frontage. We set out to subtly complement this lovely house design with our planted, window boxes and containers with integrated irrigation systems.
